Surah Hud
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ فَٱخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِى شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ
Wa laqad ātainā mūsal-kitāba fakhtulifa fīh(i), wa lau lā kalimatun sabaqat mir rabbika laquḍiya bainahum, wa innahum lafī syakkim minhu murīb(in).
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt.

363) Had there not been a prior decree to delay their punishment until the Day of Resurrection, they would have surely been destroyed right then and there.
