Surah Hud
وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِىٓءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالَ هَـٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَصِيبٌ
Wa lammā jā'at rusulunā lūṭan sī'a bihim wa ḍāqa bihim żar‘aw wa qāla hāżā yaumun ‘aṣīb(un).
And when Our messengers, [the angels], came to Lot, he was anguished for them and felt for them great discomfort and said, "This is a trying day."

360) Prophet Lot (peace be upon him) felt deeply distressed by the arrival of those messengers of Allah because they appeared as handsome young men, while his people were intensely infatuated with attractive young men for same-sex relations. He felt completely powerless to protect his guests from the harassment of his people.
