Surah An-Nur

وَإِذَا بَلَغَ ٱلْأَطْفَـٰلُ مِنكُمُ ٱلْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوا۟ كَمَا ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

Wa iżā balagal-aṭfālu minkumul-ḥuluma falyasta'żinū kamasta'żanal-lażīna min qablihim, każālika yubayyinullāhu lakum āyātih(ī),wallāhu ‘alīmun ḥakīm(un).

And when the children among you reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] as those before them have done. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

524) The children of free people who are not mahram and have reached the age of puberty must seek permission beforehand if they wish to enter their parents' bedroom, in the same manner as the people mentioned in verses 27 and 28 of this surah.
