Surah Al-Furqan
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا
Wa huwal-lażī khalaqa minal-mā'i basyaran fa ja‘alahū nasabaw wa ṣihrā(n), wa kāna rabbuka qadīrā(n).
And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].

534) Muṣāharah (relationship by marriage) refers to the family ties created as a result of wedlock, such as sons-in-law or daughters-in-law, parents-in-law, and siblings-in-law.
