Surah An-Nazi'at
يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ
Yaqūlūna a'innā lamardūdūna fil-ḥāfirah(ti).
They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?

745) After the disbelievers heard the news about the existence of the Resurrection after death, they felt astonished and mocked it because, according to their belief, the Resurrection does not exist. That is the reason why they said so.
