Surah Yunus
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
Huwal-lażī ja‘ala lakumul-laila litaskunū fīhi wan-nahāra mubṣirā(n), inna fī żālika la'āyātil liqaumiy yasma‘ūn(a).
It is He who made for you the night to rest therein and the day, giving sight. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.

349) Allah Almighty has made the daily cycle of the earth's rotation the cause for the recurrence of night and day. At night, when the sun is on the opposite side of the earth, it becomes dark and cool, making it perfectly suited for rest. Meanwhile, the bright daylight is perfectly suited for daily activities and work.
