Surah Al-Anbiya
Wa zakariyyā iż nādā rabbahū rabbi lā tażarnī fardaw wa anta khairul-wāriṡīn(a).
And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."
📝 Footnotes
494) If Allah the Almighty did not grant his prayer—meaning, giving him offspring—Prophet Zechariah (peace be upon him) would completely submit to Allah the Almighty, for Allah the Almighty is the best of inheritors.
