Surah Al-Anbiya
وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِى ٱلْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَـٰهِدِينَ
Wa dāwūda wa sulaimāna iż yaḥkumāni fil-ḥarṡi iż nafasyat fīhi ganamul-qaum(i), wa kunnā liḥukmihim syāhidīn(a).
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field - when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement.

491) In that event, Prophet David (peace be upon him) ruled that the sheep must be given to the owner of the field as compensation for the damage to his crop. However, Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him) ruled that the owner of the sheep must replant the field until it returned to its original state. During this period, the owner of the sheep was required to hand over his sheep to be utilized by the field owner until the crops grew back.
