Surah Ali 'Imran
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتًۢا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
Wa lā taḥsabannal-lażīna qutilū fī sabīlillāhi amwātā(n), bal aḥyā'un 'inda rabbihim yurzaqūn(a).
And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,

134) This means living in another realm, not in the worldly realm. They receive various bounties and blessings in the presence of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He. Only Allah knows the true nature of life in that other realm.
