Surah Ali 'Imran
Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]."
📝 Footnotes
94) "Mubāhalah" is when each side in a dispute earnestly prays that Allah's curse be upon the party that is lying. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, invited the Christian delegation from Najrān to engage in mubāhalah, but they declined. This is regarded as evidence of the truth of the Islamic belief concerning ʿĪsā, peace be upon him.
