Surah Ali 'Imran
يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِىٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَتِ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ وَٱلْإِنجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Yā ahlal-kitābi lima tuḥājjūna fī ibrāhīma wa mā unzilatit-taurātu wal-injīlu illā mim ba‘dih(ī), afalā ta‘qilūn(a).
O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason?

95) The Jews and the Christians each claimed that the Prophet Ibrāhīm, peace be upon him, belonged to their own faith. Allah refuted their claim by pointing out that the Prophet Ibrāhīm, peace be upon him, lived before either of them.
