Surah Ar-Rum
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَآئِهِمْ شُفَعَـٰٓؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ كَـٰفِرِينَ
Wa lam yakul lahum min syurakā'ihim syufa‘ā'u wa kānū bisyurakā'ihim kāfirīn(a).
And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.

583) According to some commentators (mufassir), this verse is interpreted as, 'in fact, they became disbelievers because of the idols.'
