Surah Ar-Rum
فِى بِضْعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِنۢ بَعْدُ ۚ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Fī biḍ‘i sinīn(a), lillāhil-amru min qablu wa mim ba‘d(u), wa yauma'iżiy yafraḥul-mu'minūn(a).
Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice

582) The word biḍ‘ denotes a number between three and nine. The period between the defeat of the Romans (614‒615 CE) and their victory (622 CE) was approximately seven years.
