Surah Al-A'raf
وَأَوْرَثْنَا ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَـٰرِقَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَغَـٰرِبَهَا ٱلَّتِى بَـٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُۥ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْرِشُونَ
Wa auraṡnal-qaumal-lażīna kānū yustaḍ‘afūna masyāriqal-arḍi wa magāribahal-latī bāraknā fīhā, wa tammat kalimatu rabbikal-ḥusnā ‘alā banī isrā'īl(a), bimā ṣabarū, wa dammarnā mā kāna yaṣna‘u fir‘aunu wa qaumuhū wa mā kānū ya‘risyūn(a).
And We caused the people who had been oppressed to inherit the eastern regions of the land and the western ones, which We had blessed. And the good word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of what they had patiently endured. And We destroyed [all] that Pharaoh and his people were producing and what they had been building.

279) Along with the collapse of Pharaoh's kingdom, the lands of Sham, Egypt, and their surroundings that were previously ruled by Pharaoh were inherited by the Children of Israel. 280) What is meant by the buildings of Pharaoh that were destroyed by Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, are the structures they built by enslaving the Children of Israel, such as the city of Ramses and the tower built by Haman upon Pharaoh's orders.
