Surah Al-A'raf

وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلًا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُوا۟ بِأَحْسَنِهَا ۚ سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ دَارَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ

Wa katabnā lahū fil-alwāḥi min kulli syai'im mau‘iẓataw wa tafṣīlal likulli syai'(in), fa khużhā biquwwatiw wa'mur qaumaka ya'khużū bi'aḥsanihā, sa'urīkum dāral-fāsiqīn(a).

And We wrote for him on the tablets [something] of all things - instruction and explanation for all things, [saying], "Take them with determination and order your people to take the best of it. I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient."

282) Tablets (al-Lawh) are stone or wooden tablets inscribed with the Torah, which Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) received after supplicating and communing on Mount Sinai. 283) Prioritize obligatory matters (wajib) over recommended (sunnah) and permissible (mubah) ones. 284) Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, will show the lands of the wicked, such as Pharaoh, ‘Ad, and Thamud, which were destroyed along with them as a consequence of their wrongdoing and wickedness.
