Surah Al-A'raf

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسْمَـٰٓئِهِۦ ۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Wa lillāhil-asmā'ul-ḥusnā fad‘ūhu bihā, wa żarul-lażīna yulḥidūna fī asmā'ih(ī), sayujzauna mā kānū ya‘malūn(a).

And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing.

296) Disregard those who worship Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, by invoking names that do not fit His majestic attributes, or who use His Most Beautiful Names (Asma-ul-Husna) with the intention of desecrating His name, or who misappropriate His Most Beautiful Names to designate entities other than Allah Swt.
