Surah Al-Ma'idah
قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ مَن لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْقِرَدَةَ وَٱلْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
Qul hal unabbi'ukum bisyarrim min żālika maṡūbatan ‘indallāh(i), mal la‘anahullāhu wa gaḍiba ‘alaihi wa ja‘ala minhumul-qiradata wal-khanāzīra wa ‘abadaṭ-ṭāgūt(a), ulā'ika syarrum makānaw wa aḍallu ‘an sawā'is-sabīl(i).
Say, "Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allah? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way."

217) Something with a worse recompense refers to considering faith in Allah, the Al-Qur’an, and the previously revealed scriptures as a mistake. 218) This curse was befell the Jewish people who violated the sanctity of the Sabbath day (see Surah al-Baqarah/2: 65).
