Surah Al-Anfal
وَلَوْ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا لَّأَسْمَعَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ
Wa lau ‘alimallāhu fīhim khairal la'asma‘ahum, wa lau asma‘ahum latawallau wa hum mu‘riḍūn(a).
Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing.

309) The hypothetical conditional in this verse does not mean that Allah SWT does not know. Rather, this verse affirms His omniscience—that there is absolutely no goodness in them.
