Surah Al-An'am
وَلَا تَطْرُدِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلْعَشِىِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُۥ ۖ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Wa lā taṭrudil-lażīna yad‘ūna rabbahum bil-gadāti wal-‘asyiyyi yurīdūna wajhah(ū), mā ‘alaika min ḥisābihim min syai'iw wa mā min ḥisābika ‘alaihim min syai'in fa taṭrudahum fa takūna minaẓ-ẓālimīn(a).
And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

245) While the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was sitting with a few believers whom the Quraysh looked down upon as lowly and poor, some leaders of the Quraysh came wanting to speak with him. They refused to sit with those believers and urged him to drive them away so that they could speak with the Messenger comfortably. This verse was revealed as a rebuke against that attitude.
