Surah Al-Baqarah
فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ
Fī qulūbihim maraḍun fa zādahumullāhu maraḍā(n), wa lahum ‘ażābun alīmum bimā kānū yakżibūn(a).
In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.

6) The disease of the heart referred to is doubt regarding the truth of Islam, hypocrisy, or hatred toward the prophethood of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
