Surah Al-Baqarah

وَقُلْنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Wa qulnā yā ādamuskun anta wa zaujukal-jannata wa kulā minhā ragadan ḥaiṡu syi'tumā, wa lā taqrabā hāżihisy-syajarata fa takūnā minaẓ-ẓālimīn(a).

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."

15) Satan deceived Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) by claiming that whoever ate the fruit of that tree would abide in Paradise forever (see surah Ṭāhā/20: 120). 16) Meaning those who commit wrongdoing that results in harm to themselves or to others.
