Surah Al-Baqarah
يَـٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَوْفُوا۟ بِعَهْدِىٓ أُوفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ وَإِيَّـٰىَ فَٱرْهَبُونِ
Yā banī isrā'īlażkurū ni‘matiyal-latī an‘amtu ‘alaikum wa aufū bi‘ahdī ūfi bi‘ahdikum, wa iyyāya farhabūn(i).
O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

19) Israel is another name for Prophet Jacob (peace be upon him). Therefore, the Children of Israel (Bani Israil) are the descendants of Prophet Jacob (peace be upon him), who are now known as the Jewish people. 20) Among the covenants made by the Children of Israel with Allah SWT were to worship Him alone, not to associate any partners with Him, and to believe in Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as mentioned in the Torah.
