Surah Al-Baqarah
وَإِذْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
Wa iż ātainā mūsal-kitāba wal-furqāna la‘allakum tahtadūn(a).
And [recall] when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion that perhaps you would be guided.

26) What is meant is the collection of revelations called the Torah, which functions as the furqān, namely the criterion that distinguishes between truth and falsehood.
