Surah Al-Baqarah
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦٓ أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَا مَثَلًا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِيرًا وَيَهْدِى بِهِۦ كَثِيرًا ۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
Innallāha lā yastaḥyī ay yaḍriba maṡalam mā ba‘ūḍatan famā fauqahā, fa'ammal- lażīna āmanū faya‘lamūna annahul-ḥaqqu mir rabbihim, wa ammal-lażīna kafarū fayaqūlūna māżā arādallāhu bihāżā maṡalā(n), yuḍillu bihī kaṡīraw wa yahdī bihī kaṡīrā(n), wa mā yuḍillu bihī illal-fāsiqīn(a).
Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,

9) Small creatures that are considered weak, such as mosquitoes, ants, bees, spiders, or others, actually contain much wisdom to serve as lessons for humanity. 10) A person goes astray because of their denial and unwillingness to understand the guidance of Allah SWT. In this verse, it is explained that they disbelieved and refused to understand why Allah SWT made a mosquito as a parable. Consequently, they went astray. 11) A wicked person (fasiq) is one who violates the tenets of religion, whether through words or deeds.
