Surah Al-Baqarah
۞ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ ۚ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Ważkurullāha fī ayyāmim ma‘dūdāt(in), faman ta‘ajjala fī yaumaini falā iṡma ‘alaih(i), wa man ta'akhkhara falā iṡma ‘alaihi limanittaqā, wattaqullāha wa‘lamū annakum ilaihi tuḥsyarūn(a).
And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him - for him who fears Allah. And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered.

61) What is meant by dhikr here is reciting takbir, tasbih, tahmid, and the like. What is meant by "a fixed number of days" are the days of Tashreeq, which are the three days following Eid al-Adha (the 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah). 62) "Hurrying" in this verse means leaving Mina on the 12th of Dhu al-Hijjah before sunset (nafar awwal). Meanwhile, "delaying it" means leaving Mina on the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah (nafar thani).
