Surah Al-Baqarah
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Allażīna ātaināhumul-kitāba ya‘rifūnahū kamā ya‘rifūna abnā'ahum, wa inna farīqam minhum layaktumūnal-ḥaqqa wa hum ya‘lamūn(a).
Those to whom We gave the Scripture know him as they know their own sons. But indeed, a party of them conceal the truth while they know [it].

42) The Jews and Christians knew the prophethood and attributes of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) very well because they had been mentioned clearly in the Torah and the Gospel.
